German Quality in China
(03. May 2012) Augsburg-based automation specialist and system integrator KUKA Systems GmbH is participating in this year’s international exhibition and conference for the solar industry and photovoltaics in Shanghai, the SNEC PV Power Expo 2012. It is one of the biggest events for the photovoltaic sector in Asia and is used by more than 2000 international companies as a platform for presenting the latest trends and solutions. At Booth 530 in Hall E3 from 16 to 18 May 2012, KUKA Systems will be exhibiting products and solutions for the automated production of photovoltaic modules.

Not just one, but two awards
(18. Apr 2012) The technological leader from Augsburg has been officially designated “Supplier of the year” this month. System builder KUKA Systems received not just one, but two awards for its good cooperation with automotive customers over the past year. The best suppliers were rewarded for their continuous performance in 2011 with regard to innovation, cost management, project management, quality, reliability and sustainability.

In the frame
(22. Mar 2012) Three years ago, the Dresden company SOLARWATT AG invested in a new highly automated production line for manufacturing crystalline solar modules. The special feature of this line is that it is systematically based on highly flexible robotic solutions. A finished solar module comes off the conveyor every 28 seconds.

A brand on the move through Europe
(03. Feb 2012) As of November 2011, the Augsburg-based technological leader will be presenting the “KUKA Systems” brand to the wider public. A white semitrailer tractor with over 400 HP under the hood, pulling a 14-meter trailer bearing the slogan “Technology Solutions – Made by KUKA Systems”.

Mit 5 Euro zum Erfolg
(01. Feb 2012) „Ideen kreativ und erfolgreich verwirklichen, eine Geschäftsidee im Team entwickeln, mit fünf Euro Startkapital, im eigenen Unternehmen, ohne Risiko.“ So bewerben die Initiatoren den „5-Euro-Business“-Wettbewerb in Augsburg. Studenten aller Fachrichtungen sind aufgerufen, sich daran zu beteiligen. Der Augsburger Anlagenbauer KUKA Systems ist zum dritten Mal in Folge als „Wirtschaftspate“ vertreten.

Award-Winning Cinema with System(s)
(05. Dec 2011) The KUKA Systems “Energy Kino” show has won the Annual Multimedia Award 2012. Awards were presented by a high-caliber panel of experts for the best multimedia productions of the past two years. The “Energy Kino” show took the Silver Award.
