1982 ... is the year LSW Maschinenfabrik GmbH is founded. Although the beginnings of the company cannot be traced to the proverbial car shed, it did begin in the house of a family in Bremen`s district Oberneuland, where a first order was placed. The first systems were assembled in a rented factory. By the end of this year, LSW becomes a member of IWKA AG, Karlsruhe due to the acquisition of 90% of the LSW-shares by KUKA, Augsburg.
	1983 ... a plot of land measuring 4000 m² is leased in Bremen-Vegesack, the current site of the company, and the first "own" factory and office buildings are erected.
	1991 ... another 7500 m² of land are purchased to expand the existing office and factory area, bringing the total to 3850 m².
	1999 ... IWKA AG, Karlsruhe acquires B&K Corporation in Michigan, our transatlantic partner for test stands in assembly systems.
	2001 ... another 2400 m² of office and production area are provided by an annex and a second floor to the existing building in Bremen-Vegesack.
	2003 ... the subsidiary "South" is founded in Niederstotzingen, Germany.
	2005 ... as a part of KUKA Aerospace Group our company enters the market of aerospace industry with innvoative assembly concepts.
	2005 ... by setting up an own office in the KUKA building in Shanghai, we expand our activities in the Chinese market. Two employees are permanently on-site for the support of our Chinese customers.
	2007 ... the product range ist completed by "Test Technologies". Integrated test (IPV tests within the assembly process) complements our main product - assembly devices - as well as leaktest-, transmission test- and engine cold test devices.
	2009 ... together with KUKA Assembly and Test Corp. (former B&K) in USA we represent the Business Unit "Assembly & Test" within the KUKA Systems GmbH
