For the fi rst time ever, KUKA InterPressControl offers the complete integration of Ethernet-based bus systems into the press shop. This new bus system reduces the multitude of diverse systems currently in use on the market to a single, Ethernetbased system. KS Pressmaster V5

Master control station functionality with KS Pressmaster V5

This modular software allows visualization of the entire line. Furthermore, PressMaster also provides functions for component program management, fault analysis and operator guidance. The documentation of the entire line is integrated, enabling short restart times in the event of a problem. The modular structure of the software means that additional modules can be loaded if required. Modules are available for cycle time optimization, for data archiving and for preventive maintenance. All modules can be dynamically loaded in KS PressMaster V5 – also as an update. This makes it easy to respond to increased information requirements in the future. KS PressMaster V5 is a major step towards ensuring future compatibility in the press shop.

KS Presstec Module

The complete integration of the KS PressTec family into the robot controller guarantees optimal synchronization with the process and ensures simple diagnostics.

The modules of the KS PressTec family are available for the blank cutting and destacker areas, for between the presses, and for racking of the fi nished parts.

KS Presstec V5

The KUKA basic module coordinates and checks the motion sequences of the presses and robots, ensuring collision-free interaction of the systems and optimized output.

The new version V5 further shortens the press loading and unloading times by means of anticipatory synchronization of the robot with the press motions. The integrated LogicAnalyzer saves all the data during operation, thereby enabling comprehensive diagnosis.
