The KUKA TransPressorTM is a complete system based on high-performance components. Characteristic of the KUKA TransPressorTM is the carbon fiber arm with the offset axis 6 of the robot. This axis arrangement enables the TransPressorTM to perform quick, stable and linear transfer of workpieces, as axis 6 is directly above the workpiece and thus centrally positioned at the center of gravity of the load. The complete package includes adapted electrical and pneumatic interfaces, adaptation of the KS PressTec system software and a fully integrated function package for component handling. The function package is available in 4 versions with vacuum ejectors, and optionally with gripper coding and auxiliary valves. All energy and fluids lines are pre-installed up to the customer-specific gripper interface.
