Data protection / consent to processing person-related data

The use of this registration platform is voluntary for the suppliers of the KUKA Systems GmbH. We use your information to inform you about business-relevant transactions (e.g. notices of invitations to tender) and to contact you if necessary. The purchasing department of KUKA takes the topic of data protection very serious. We therefore undertake to keep all supplier-related data strictly confidential and to administer it in a safe manner. A transmission/disclosure of your data to a third party will not take place in any form whatsoever. The data protection provisions of the KUKA Systems GmbH website apply to the registration platform. Upon registering as a supplier, you give your consent to the described collection and use of data, and you do so with knowledge of the data protection provisions of the KUKA Systems GmbH. You are free to revoke this consent at any time by way of a corresponding declaration to the administrator (purchasing@KUKA.de) of the registration platform.

General system premises:

• Java Runtime Environment (JRE), version: from 1.5 www.java.com  Therefore you have to activate the scripting of Java Applets in the internet options of your Webbrowser.
  
• Browser, e. g. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Firefox 1.0.2 or higher
  

 D-U-N-S Number
(not an obligatory data field of the registration questionnaire / supplier application)

The D-U-N-S Number (=data universal numbering system) is a special numbering system of the business information company, Dun & Bradstreet.
The goal here is to assign a distinctive and standardized number to each registered business enterprise. However, a D-U-N-S Number can only be given to persons (legal entities?) carrying on a commercial trade / business.
The updating of the D-U-N-S Number (data?) takes place centrally at D&B. This is based, for example, on information from commercial registry certificates, publications/notifications, annual financial statements, etc. For this reason, the supplier does not need to directly contribute to the updating of the D-U-N-S data. The supplier can acquire a D-U-N-S Number free of charge. The supplier need only apply once to D&B for a number. The advantage for you and for the KUKA Systems GmbH of having a D-U-N-S Number is that it simplifies the use of electronic systems for suppliers and customers: a more exact and more efficient flow of information, and transparent processes.

System maintenance

As system updates are carried out on Saturday evenings from 8 p.m. to midnight CET, the system is temporarily not available during this time. Please take this into account when submitting your supplier’s application or when making bids. Thank you for your understanding!
