Increasing demand for heat pumps necessitates increased production with undiminished quality and cost optimization. KUKA Systems has the experience and know-how to draw up these requirements with you and implement them from the planning phase through to the finished production system. Scalable and flexible automation are important aspects allowing high numbers of variants in heat pump production. Optimization of products, in terms of manufacturing costs, numbers of variants, ease of assembly and process reliability, is something we regard as part of the planning.

Core processes

Automation helps to optimize costs and boost quality. For heat pump production, prime candidates for automation solutions are brazing automation, transfer systems, handling devices and test systems (e.g. helium leak testing). Additional frequently recurring applications are housing production, plate or tube processing and welding technology – for which we are able to provide our own high-tech process machines (some patented).
