Hotmelt bonding applicationKUKA has developed a fully automatic solution for applying hotmelt adhesive to any flat surface with high precision.
In addition to the special robot designed for applications of this type, the robot software is designed for easy modification of process parameters etc.
The centering fixture for the panel has been developed to correct product position and levelness. The dimensions and positions are measured and transmitted to the robot application to enable a higher process quality. An optional vision system for robot guidance makes the application even more accurate. |
